Lainney Pollard

INTRODUCTION

Lainney Pollard was the wife of Traelecii hero, Claxton Pollard . She also is the mother of Jax Arden, and as a result, one of just four people that knew his true identity. In 4644, Claxton and his family were the subjects of an assassination attempt ordered by John Dolion and Derrick Bramwell. Lainney and her son, Jaxson, were saved by two mericful and a dwarf, but Claxton was left mangled and half-dead. Despite the warnings by her resucuers, Lainney wanted nothing to do with the merciful and ran away northward to Cizmark. Lainney left her son on the street at age four, selling him for a pint of beer and some opium. Lainney would eventually commit suicide in 4761. Jaxson would later avenge his death by executing all the leader responsible for his fathers death.
