Dutch's Protective Services was hired by Queens to supplement and possibly replace the NYPD in the borough because of a massive shake up from corruption charges which resulted in a drop of available police officers from almost 35,000 between 5 boroughs to 10,000. Since then, the peace officers of this military contractor have been patrolling the streets of Queens on specialized motorcycles like digital age cowboys on AI assisted steel motor horses.
Their founder was a soldier who served overseas and saw the difference in pay between a grunt like himself and the private sector. This contract is his first and he is confident that it is a sign of things to come.
So far, though they patrol one of the largest parts of the city, DPS has the lowest arrest record. Hostetler has assured his crew that this will change and soon. They have uncovered a possible connection between Eden Foundation and a slew of cases ranging from assault to fraud, from bribery to attempted murder. If they can gather the evidence and make an airtight case they will score big and Dutch's will be the name on all the citizen's of NYC. Maybe enough to push competitors in the other boroughs from the table.

Dutch's Protective Services, or DPS, is dedicated to providing affordable and efficient security to the residents of the areas they protect. Using an array of non-lethal armaments, highly-trained contractors in but not limited to:

-close-quarters conflict resolution methods

-threat assessment
As well as being capable of handling other public security concerns as assigned.

DPS V1 Motorcycle: 900 -A High powered multi terrain motorcycle created by Dutch's. Modifications have been made to allow for greater urban mobility. -Dual mounted auto guns that discharge rubber rounds at lower than average speeds for incapacitating targets within 30 yards -A reinforced body and high speed (over 50mph) turn assist wheels that extend from the frame in a high speed turn to keep the vehicle from sliding out of control
DPS V2 Motorcycle: 1000 -In addition to the supplements found in the previous model, the V2 is NYCAR equipped and have a "Soft" Artificial Intelligence that runs on prompts, commands and distinct protocols. The cameras on the patrol bike keep open transparency with the citizens.
DPS V3 Motorcycle: 100 -This piece of HyperTech has been in development for several years by a team that Dutch recruited. This vehicle has a theorized "Hard" Artificial Intelligence. A true growing digital intellect that starts with protocols but eventually can act independently. These 100 are the beta test batch and are being used to determine how much further the developers must go before Dutch's investment in them pays off.
