Second Catalyst Event, The

A few months after the initial Catalyst Event, the Millennium Marvel's Lady Liberty inadvertently created another one after managing to gain control of the PRISM when it was activated.  (See Session Report S01E14 - A Psyren's call for the details).
The Second Catalyst Event had much wider reaching consequences, however.  Janus had Opened the Ways in order to syphon power to enhance his Mercenary Unit Ghost Squad, when the PRISM was pulled from his grasp by Crusader.  Having no way to truly understand the impact of her actions, Lady Liberty reached out and plucked the device from the air as it fell.  Her physiology reacted with the power coming from the device, which was syphoning far more power than when Silas Prescott activated it the first time, seeming to boost the coverage of the power to blanket the globe in its entirety.
