Zurchonic (Zur-con-nik)
(a.k.a. The Alluring Hive Mind)
A biological hive mind intent on expanding across Potestatem. During the third era it mutated from Destroyer Breath along with many other proto hive minds in the West Jungles of Foisham. Thought to be named after the hard black and purple carapace that forms on its body similar to zirconium ceramite armors. Or after the intitial struggles with getting pure zirconium as an element when it was discovered.
Originally it took on a form similar to an large brain with tentacles but was destroyed via collapsing its sea cave in upon itself.
It was later discovered a advanced hiviling in the shape a female humanoid body was jettisoned through teloporation magic used to another world.
There it ran into local humanoid life. The specfic lifeform it came into close physical contact with willingly turned over its biomass to Zurchonic and became the host of the new hive queen. The new hive mind was absurdly different in personality and physical form than its orginal form on Potestatem.
Before the hive mind was aggressive and monsterous in its expansion. Now on a new world devoid of magic, phsycic energies, or familiar foes, it became something new. The willing, rather than fighting, host of the body altered the core tenats of the hive. Now it seeks only those who want to be sought.
Many key bioinfastructues such as a Psychic Beacon, Bioformer, and a Soul Bunker were absent from this new worlds hive mind. This new playing field and persona has caused the hive mind to adapt. Two adapations have been utilized over the last few years.
First the digital realm, similar to the hive minds old and familiar psychic realm, has become the minds main format of communcation. Utilizing a feminine form it attempts to expand its thralls once more. Secondly its psychic abilites and old habits grow unchecked on this world with no psychics or psychic defenses. At least, that it has ran into yet. As it expands and gets access to more information, biomass, and power it will grow in potential threat to the world. We can hope that it doesn't change its mind about only taking willing thralls.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
A single body, ha! The orginal core of Zurchonic is from the flesh of whomever, or whatever sent them here to Earth. This body has since morphed to seduce more minds to join the hive.
Body Features
The body is coated in a thin green skin. A mimicry of hair made up of a fleshy brainlike material coats their head. Black scales form an exoskeleton of clothes around their humanoid shape.
Facial Features
Pink eyes and smooth green skin form a feminine face to speak with and attract others.
Physical quirks
Many vocal cords constantly shift within Zurchonics formed throat. This comes out as a chorus of voices when they speak that can be unsettling, yet hypnotizing to listen to.
Special abilities
The will of Zurchonic can project up to ten miles given little psychic interference. A large grouping of advanced minds such as a village or city can reduce this range down to as little as a hundred feet. If the will can be projected to a given mind it can be spoken to. If the given mind is a hivling thrall commands and control can even be willingly given over to Zurchonic.
Currently Zurchonic has been able to control up to a dozen minds within range in parrallel.
Apparel & Accessories
Zurchonic has an unhealthy addiction to sweaters, yoga pants, and hoodies. The unhealthy aspects come from their bodies allergic reaction to those items. Hopefully one day they can grow the clothes from their own form. Perhaps a hiveling thrall will one day be assimilated that can create the correct items.
Specialized Equipment
Zurchonic utilizies several magic artifacts to hide within Earths many regions. These same items allow them to transport and setup their streaming equipment from all around the world. These items are neccsary to avoid any scientists that may want to capture and study them.

Assimilate all life into the hive mind. Zurchonic was transported to Earth with this one task. Their homeworld of Potestatem is a foggy memory. Here on Earth life has flourished with scrumptious intelligence. The advanced brains of humans make extremely powerful assets to the hive mind.
So Zurchonic is here to create the hive. Through taking on an alluring form Zurchonic hopes to create a hoard of hivelings thralls. Having been on Earth for some time Zurchonic has found the digital spread of their hive minds influences the best tool for the job. Now, forget your ego, pride, and personality, give in to the distance psychic caress of the hive mind, and take on your new duties to it.
Gender Identity
Control over the flesh, and shared consioucness over many bodies makes Zurchonic a being of infinite potential. A single orientation, identity is far to limiting. Zurchonic does not understand how anyone could thrive within a single fading body.
Education
The mind of a shared consiouness benefits from the constant inflow of information from many seperate bodies. Education comes in the form of assimilating new minds. Humans have such beautiful slimy craveable minds.
Employment
Zurchonic slinks in the shadows of night seeking new minds to assimilate. These assimialted minds continue on their past lives, now linked to many other souls. The original body of Zurchonic functions as the core of the others. Sending out information over long distances has proven difficult so Zurchonic utilizes live streaming as a main function in order to make up for the large size of Earth and the spread of its delicious people.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Hivelings thralls joining the mind are a wonderful accomlishment. Whenever a new soul willingly joins the greater consiounsess Zurchonic counts that as an accomplishment.
Mental Trauma
Potestatem, the foggy distant past, remains a shadow over Zurchonics life. To grow the minds is their purpose, but why? Who instilled this purpose? Is there a greater piece of their own soul back on that home world? Zurchonic does not know, they hope to find out one day.
Morality & Philosophy
Indvidualism stands opposite Zurchonics morals. To completly know another creature, to share their body and mind as one is to be complete. To grow this to many is to do all things. Though, the inherited beliefs of the thralls who have joined Zurchonics minds have affected them. Through the many souls within the mind Zurchonic has learned that all things can have value, and all life is precious.
Taboos
Pain and karma have taught Zurchonic to never overide a beings free will. When a mind is forced into the hive it brings suffering to all within the hive mind. Thus Zurchonic allures souls willing into the hive.

Sweet treats. Please, never have I ever been so plentifully nourished. Ice cream sandwhiches were invented by the divines themselves as a gift to prove they love us and want to make us happy.
