Inscrutable and nearly occult, Golden Dawn Armor is a sentient animated set of ancient Hazfeni armor. As a member of the Synod of Wisdom, Golden Dawn Armor provides guidance for the Hazfen Empire. GDA or Dawn for short has stayed in this position of power for over a hundred years. The armor as an object simply rests on a stand behind it's seat in Hourglass Altar Synod meeting chamber between meetings, animating when a meeting begins.

Personal history
Joining the council a little over a hundred years ago, GDA has long provided guidance. Unknowing of it's origins, the population has accepted that GDA is a trusted member of the council. Other Synod members refrain from commenting on the origin, or if they know anything at all, about GDA.
GDA speaks just like any other member of the council. GDA remains silent on most matters in the council but over the last several years has provided unique intelligence on warfare, tactics, and military intel. The armor itself has become more advanced and ornate. Upon initially joining the suit seemed no different from that of an animated armor. Average strength and constitution. The armor communicated through scrolls and prewritten messages delivered by a house servant. Twenty years into its term it began to speak of its own accord. It revealed this was done through a message stone fused with the helmet of the armor. Later the armor was reforged by an unknown blacksmith. After not appearing at three meetings, GDA reappeared as an ancient set of golden Hazfeni war armor known to be used by generals in warfare.
The armor was heavily enchanted and designed to join a skirmish against the Sigh that day. Riding out to the battle in the Sigh Dunes the armor showed extreme strength, fortitude, and intelligence in combat. Whether it be throwing a four hundred pound Sigh hunter, or predicting the ambush of a Sigh burrowing hive, GDA awed many.
Now even more enchanted to the point a golden 'dawn-like' light ripples from the suit, GDA actively participates in combat and in council meetings as a valuable member, even if the controller, or creator, of the suit, is unknown to the public.
