1.06 - Preparations
General Summary
Coris and Samuel talk to John Henderson. Coris tells the guard his name is Henry. They also meet a dwarf guard named Jennifer.
Creedence and Tristian went to talk to Mother Featherton, who told them she didn’t have anything to do with the murder, she was doing a favor for Lord Understone when he also decided to cut Terrance Corker off. She hadn’t had anything to do with him for a while beforehand.
Everyone (including Cheni) met up after this. Cheni shows them the dagger but underplays the significance. She lets everyone know that it’s another thing that connects Terrence to Chelor Dun/Cult of Chelor, but it is sort of pushed aside for later as the party is going to raid the brothel. They do make a general plan of going to Senot Tik to see the Chelor Dun. Cheni doesn’t know Nehrlok's Cave.
Then Cheni attunes to Shai'tan, and can tell that its magical properties are blocked by something. She also took the blade in the vision. Tristian gets to understanding the songbook. Coris and Samuel work on his disguise and Lleona keeps watch downstairs.
Tristian plays a set for dinner which starts off very well. Gherd drops off the Sending Stones with Lleona and fucks off. The sex tourists leave anxiously. Coris and Tristian leave before Coris changes his face, and they see a man who was looking out in front of the lodge but don’t confront him. They start toward the docks, ducking behind the treeline in the Temple to disguise themselves -- Tristian as Coris, Coris as John Henderson (although Coris’s eyes remain a bright blue). Tristian expresses that he’s feeling jumpy and that they might need to re-evaluate their plan. Session ended due to technical issues before the rest of the party left the Lodge.
