General Summary
Cheni and Tristian Starling interview Rhotel, who basically tells them that he’s a follower of Chelor and that they have been buying from Terrance. Thanks them for their discretion, he, like many other Chelu-kaan, prefers to keep his religious views private.
Coris goes to the apothecary and buys incense, casts Divination --
“To find the murderer of Terrance Corker, who is best to question?” “The blood of the gods runs in veins through this land. The one you seek will fill your cup and set you upon the path to the darkness below and the ones who kneel there.”The party splits up. Creedence, Gherd, Tristian go to The Unopened Box/Corker’s Apartment. Tristian opens a letter to Sulphier. “Summons from Baron Iverfort” and “List” were found. “Mysterious Order” was in the desk in the storefront. Creedence asks if it’s possible the Baron might have done something to Corker. Coris, Cheni, and Lleona go to the Temple of Kraa'thom/Kraa’thom’s Cup. Gern Tos Tos knows Lleona’s grandmother, and will send for her to come to Port Shimmerly. In Kraa’thom’s Cup, the group receives some cryptic information from Mili-bohn, an elder elf with docked ears who lives there:
“Bad omens of Chelor Dun. Chelor changes his face, and not all of him is bad. Terrance was supplying “materials” (connotation of sacrificial items) to the Chelorans. You must go underground, to the poisoned light. They are planning something.”She gives Blessing of the Gods to the three of them. Cheni stays at the Temple for a while longer while everyone else heads back to the Lodge.
