Baking was an
allowed technology. No advancement in the craft of baking occured in the centuries on
Poneren, and as long as nothing more advanced than an enclosed fire was used to create an oven, baking was allowed under the
Guines Edict.
Most people preferred to use
magic to create their food, but due to the stagnant nature of the old technology, it was not required.
