Scope
The motivation behind building Pondera
I want a fully sandbox world, where player choices determine not only the future, but potential of the present, in both what is available, and where the campaign leads on.
The goal of the project
I want a place where my ideas, even the most abstract, can come alive, and experience those ideas with my players.
Pondera's Unique Selling point
A thousand gods, and a thousand ways to interact with them.
Theme
Genre
Sandbox fantasy, that progresses through the ages through player choice.
Reader Experience
No matter the age, the world should feel chaotic, but beautiful. Those who travel its path should be filled with wanderlust just past the treeline, but always have a path to a hearth.
Reader Tone
The world is somewhere in the middle, but towards the brighter side of life, depending on where you live. Danger may be at every turn, but this danger is well known, and there are more than a fair share of heros to turn up against that darkness.
