EoP: Session 1: Introduction

General Summary

The party found themselves in New Jackson accepting a job from the CEO of the Wilon & Reid corporation. They were tasked with traveling to Tiberius and retrieve the research data from Tiberius Alpha. The corporation offered them 3,000 credits and an advanced handgun for completing the mission. Because the spike drill would be dangerous, the party hired a freelance pilot named Lucian McConnel to take them there. The party arrived to Tiberius Alpha to find it inhabited by three scavengers. The scavengers allowed the party to access the data in return for unlocking the research division and the command center. They required that the party take nothing but the research data.The party found the research data in the command center along with an access code for the spaceship parked outside. The party decided to access the research ship. They found that the ship was perfectly functional but needed fuel, so they siphoned fuel from the Star of Vindi. Two of the scavengers came to investigate what they were doing with the ship. Mr. Doctor instructed the ship to takeoff, and it did, trapping the two scavengers on board. The party attempted to leave with the new ship, and abandon the pilot they hired. Two of the three scavengers were trapped on the ship with them and attack. The third scavenger and the pilot entered fighters and chase the party. The party killed the two scavengers in the ship and ran a spike drive to return to Luthien. The ship was damaged in the escape however.
