EoP: Session 2: Help Wanted!

General Summary

Twitch decided that E1M1 needed an armature so that he could make excursions off of the ship. Twitch found an old box armature in a New Jackson junkyard and spent a week fixing and upgrading it.

The party aimed to do some freelance mercenary work in New Jackson. They accepted a posting titled "Expedition Crew". They were to travel to the destroyed city of Jico and disable the anti-aircraft emplacement that was preventing scavenging trips to the city. Miegs Repurposing, was offered exclusive scavenging rights if they disabled the gun, so they hired two mercenary groups to be led to the city by Samuel Barnes, a liaison to Meigs Repurposing. He Hired Twitch, E1M1, Jinny Kerensky, Zhuk Chelovek, Mr. Doctor, Cameron Hudson , Alex Bartlet, and Blake Snyder to travel to the city. The city couldn't be reached by aircraft, so the group traveled there on speeder bikes instead. It took two days or them to make it to the outskirts of the city. They made camp for the night, and Easy Company told them about the rumors surrounding Jico. Allegedly, a mechanical monster patrolled the city and killed all organic creatures in the city. The next day, the expedition group entered the city. They walked for half the day until they reached the emplacement. They spotted a malfunctioning robot outside. A huge mechanical spider pounced on it from out of the shadows. The spider didn't notice them, so they hid until it passed. Once inside the station, they had to disable the defenses and the anti air gun. They succeeded without any casualties, but Blake Snyder was injured by a turret. Jinny Kerensky saved his life. Once the defenses were disabled, E1M1 called his ship to fly to the station. The entire expedition group flew back to New Jackson, and Twitch was awarded a piece of pretech scrap and a robot hull for his bravery.

The party then decided to respond to a posting titled "Mercs Needed". They were to travel to Jarek Factory and escort a Magtrain back to New Jackson. The train was expected to be attacked by a Nomad tribe, the Chrom. The Chrom had created special trucks that they could use to derail the magcars. They were to defend the train from raiders and prevent them from derailing any cars. They successfully escorted the train back to New Jackson, only loosing one car. They killed 10 raiders in the process. Each party member received 400 credits, and Twitch managed to salvage one of their speeder bikes.

Rewards Granted

The party received 350 credits each for disabling the anti air emplacement. Twitch received a piece of pretech scrap, and E1M1 received a decommissioned robot shell that can be repurposed into an armament.

For safely escorting the train, each member of the group received 400 credits. Also, Twitch managed to salvage one of the attacker's speeder bikes.
