Luthien

This planet was once a profitable ranching colony. Before the scream, there were few cities, but after only one survived, New Jackson . The taxes in the city are exorbitant, so many people decide to live in the small towns surrounding it, or in the inhospitable frontier as Nomads.

Geography

The planet was first colonized by the Wilon & Reid corporation. The planet needed significant expensive teraforming before it was habitable, so Wilon and Reid decided that Luthien would be their new base of operations. They teraformed it to meet the geographic location that they wanted to be associated with, that of the American southwest.
