Free league

being an lndep, a member of the Free League faction. has its advantages and disadvantages. For the most part, all the other factions - save the Harmonium - cast a peery eye on the lndeps but generally leave them alone. Often, the only interaction between the Free League and the other factions is bartering for hired services, for the Indeps wilingly hire out for the right price. lndeps frequently take jobs as mercenaries, spies, couriers, and guards; as such, they’re often in demand for key positions throughout Sigil and the Outlands. Furthermore, a number of factols view Free Leaguers as potential recruits for their own factions, including the Sensates. the Fated, and the Revolutionary league Some of them have begun begun to wage quite a campaign to get the Indeps to give up their independance and become members of a "true" faction though if pressed most realize its a fultile atempt

Structure

there is no official leader of the faction, however bria tomay is the closest anyone can become to being a factol

Public Agenda

the league overall just doesn't want to buy into a faction when it could be wrong, others simply enjoy the freedom of bot being hindered by rules or loyalty, and this is how they advertise, any are welcome if they are willing to put in the effort to give a damn about what the faction stands for

History

Perhaps the best way to understand the Indeps’ current troubles is to learn how the League developed. Unfortunately, asking any Indep about himself or his history is as useless as asking a balor the point of the Blood War. A Free Leaguer lives for the here and now, and he doesn’t see himself as part of a tight group, at least not any group that can he pinned down by mere words. (An interviewer sent to question an Indep centaur in the Great Bazaar was chased away, receiving a cracked collarbone and three sprained ankles - all in the name of honest research!)   all that has been discovered from the few willing interviewees is that the great upheaval caused the faction to swell in numbers until the numbers were reduced to somewhere around 20,000. some believe it was a harmonium plot to keep the numbers at a manageable range, other think it was simply a lack of conviction to the cause, but its clear something caused the mass reduction of members
