Though beautiful on the outside, it is relatively bare on the inside, with only a single row of bank windows and a metal cage suspended 60ft in the air containing the gold visitors trade in for Lodestars , magnetic cobalt coins with the the profile of a woman facing left with flowing hair - Waukeen, the goddess of commerce, and on the other side a tall spire with a circle floating above it - Sigil. Thanks to a portal to the Elemental Plane of Earth being opened by Erasimus Astralbeard in a misguided attempt to balance Tradegates booming economy, gold must be elevated or risk being eaten by xorn.

There is a 5% exchange rate of gold into Lodestars, however that processing fee is returned upon visitor trading in their remaining Lodestars for gold.
