Originator Technology
Opalescent stones, Originator Technology is hard to track down and still isn't fully understood. Only a handfull of beings know of its existence and paltry bits of its history. The players were given their stones as part of a wedding invitation to Idris Telemmier's and Nehara Alarie's wedding. While all guests had stone necklaces which determined their seating chart at the ceremony, no one else had matching stones. It was because they had this tech that they were able to be teleported away when the Architect attacked the wedding.
When the players were teleported to The Planebreaker in Session 2 - The Laboratory , in that laboratory they found a workbench and evidence that someone had switched out the original stones in their invite necklaces with originator technology. A Sensory Stone at the site revealed that Wedding Planner Thalias was the one handling the technology, though she was nervous and hesistant to follow orders. Orders from whom? And why?
In Session 09 - Let's Go Gambling , Trine the Modron tells the group of the Tower of Gaia Grey located in the Outlands. She's a planar mage, and though she's a recluse and he's never been able to get in touch with her, it's believed she is studying Originator Tech to control portals. Her tower is fractured though, with various levels occasionally blinking out of existence. Gaia revealed that Originator tech is made from the crystal dust that provides a barrier between the Far Realms and the Space Inbetween, the place Axani Wildwalkers say exist when they travel through portals and something in the ether is watching them.

Access & Availability
While a few pieces are scattered across the planes, they are few and far between and most are lost to time. Currently it's believed that new stones can only be found when teleported to The Planebreaker , the last remaining remenant of the Originator's home plane.
Discovery
Trine the Modron is the first recorded being to discover and identify Originator Tech as more than just a pretty stone and form theories about its teleportation abilities.
