Kaorti
After being rewarded a piece of Kaorti resin for a quest, the group was attacked by a Kaorti in the Outlands trying to recover the resin. They then traded it in Tradegate for lodestars with the banker Erasimus Astralbeard , who was excited for an opportunity to use something other than gold, as gold attracked Xorn attacks in the city. However the Kaorti found the resin there too, and they encased him in resin and almost turned him into a Kaorti if it wasn't for the group arriving at the perfect time to free him.

Behaviour
Kaorti magical insights have coupled with an infection reproductive method to spread their influence across the multiverse. With no need to eat or sleep, the Kaorti can fully commit themselves to their ambitions. Kaorti care little for other creatures and do not negotiate, though they are quick to track down stolen objects made from Kaorti resin. Such resin armaments fetch a high price for their durability and versatility.
Civilization and Culture
History
The Originator society was known for being the first to unlock planar travel. Seeking to unify all of reality through their portal magic, a cabal of Originator mages tore a hole in existence which led to the Far Realm and entered. What eventually returned from the space beyond could only be described as vague simulacra of the wizards, their minds and souls in perpetual agony as they sought to coexist with the structure of reality.

A typical Kaorti resin suit resembles a molasses-colored coat of armor with skeletally thin limbs and four gnarled fingers on each hand. A kaorti's liquid body is a brownish-green goo which swirls with a rainbow of colors.
