Nuada

Nuada is one of the members of Tuatha de Danaan, often depicted as a knight in full armor with a silver artificial arm. He represents strategy, war, gallantry and honor.

Summary

Nuada is commonly depicted as a valiant knight in a shiny suit of armor, with the right arm partially replaced by a magical silver prosthesis. Even if often hidden by his helm, his hair are very light brown and his eyes are green, the incarnate is tanned. Nuada is a formidable rider with enormous fighting skills, equal to Morrigan and second only to Rhiannon, usually he wears a full armor of shiny metal and his favourite weapons are a knight's lance and a two handed great-sword.

Historical Basis

The physical appearance and the personality have been strongly inspired by the historical figure of Rhidgaer II, lack-hand.

Nuada is a god worshipped and respected in all human territories and settlement across Phaldorya. The knights, especially templars, pray Him to receive courage to fight with honor and a wise heart to respect the enemy. He's subject to a special veneration in Virkenhall and in the whole Dragon Kingdom.

Cultural Reception

Nuada is particularly worshipped by people who elects strategy in battle to brutal confrontation and, most than everyone else, by the nations with heavy cavalry at the core of their armies. Soldiers and generals honour Him with their devotion to petition for protection and courage during battles and wisdom to command. Templar knights are often devoted to Nuada and receive from the God power to turn undead and cast their spells.
