Rhidgaer II
King Rhidgaer Drakensen (a.k.a. Lackhand)
Rhidgaer II Drakensen, thirdborn of Rhidgaer I and Eleanor Salgado, second king of Dragon Kingdom it is an outright legend in Phaldorya. Eminent for is tactical and martial skills, has inspired art and literature for centuries after his death and has left an immortal legacy in the Order of the Dragon.
As a thirdborn Rhidgaer granted further security to the Drakensen bloodline but, at the time of his birth, wasn't likely to ascend to the throne. For this reason, he was trained from a very young age to become a knight in the Order of the Dragon becoming a squire at the beginning of his teenage. Although very busy governing the country, his father would often spend the little free time with his children and wife, for this reason Rhidgaer had a happy childhood and grew up without envying the elder sisters.
Been predestined to become the Grand Master of the Order of the Dragon, which in that time constituted the core of the Royal guard, he was taught to ride nearly as early as he was able to walk and, little time later, he started his training with sword and lance, that will become his favourite weapons. At the age of sixteen he would be knighted, to rapidly ascend the ranks of the order to become Grand Master only seven years later. During his first year as Grand Master of the Order of the Dragon, Rhidgaer re-organizing it completely to adapt their tactics to the new materials and techniques imported from the north of the continent.
