  Rihannon is a member of the Tuatha de Danaan, often depicted as agirl with dark hair and brown eyes riding a courser. She's often portrayed in the company of a small falcon with a dark head and golden feathers on the neck (Lady's falcon) to indicate her association with falconry, as well as with horses and hunting in general.  

Representation in popular culture

  Rihannon is usually depicted as a young woman with bronze tanned skin. Her hair is long and raven coloured. Her eyes are dark brown, slightly almond shaped. Rihannon has a wild unsophisticated look that infatuated many among gods and humans. She usually wears comfortable clothes that don't hinder her in her favourite activities and an ornate yew bow.

  If Rihannon has to meet humans she will either assume her human form, as described in the previous paragraph, or the form of a small falcon or hawk with a characteristic golden mark between its eyes. In this form she can comunicate telepathically and teleport at will.  

Historical basis

  The aspect and myth of Rihannon are inspired by the hystorical figure of Zhanti, an explorer of Otadan origins.  

Geographical distribution

  The worship of Rihannon is spread across all human settlements in Phaldorya, but in particular among the Otadan tribes and at Saythian. She is commonly worshipped by hunters and falconers and many people who take care or breed horses.

Holy symbol

  Rihannon's holy symbol is a horseshoe. Both horses and hawks are sacred animals to Rihannon and protected by her.
