History
Over a century ago, the sands practised black magic. They used it to get what they wanted and torture those who stood in their way. It was prophesised that because of this a future relative would be some what responsible for releasing all evil back into the world. When Duncan Sand was born in horrible circumstances it was feared that he was the child the prophecy predicted. For the last century the sands have some everything in their power to hide their involvement in black magic and cover up all signs of anything controversial that they were ever involved in.
