The lower grunts, ship captains, systems operators and anyone else not amongst the higher-ups do not truly know who they work for. A confusing set of rumors and hearsay have led many to conclude that they have served competing trade companies,
The most that anyone can point to as their leader is a young, but too-well trained liaison who communicates between the crews and their employers.

Most who are brought on board have already had years of experience in space operations. Recently, the leadership developed a rating system to judge the efficiency of certain captains as generals for ground assaut. Different variables like enemy forces, lossess, cargo recovered, mission parameters and others are considered when evaluating each performed action.

People are specially invited by Dai Uzu's figure head on an as-needed basis. There does not appear to be an actual criteria as the bulk of its members have been pressed from vanquished rivals.
