All-Rock Island

An island on the Canter Sea, this is where the crew of the former Rose of the Tides was headed before their ship was destroyed by the kraken. They had set out in search of cargo with a value of 15,000gp, as the island's rocky and cavernous geography make it a great spot for hiding and storing items. After becoming shipwrecked, what was left of the crew was able to row the rest of the way to their destination, reaching it alive, against any and all odds. Refusing to allow the setback to deter them for long, they head deep into the forests and find the goods securely tucked away in a cavern system.

Dragging them out, they eventually returned to the shores of the island, but not without running into trouble and leaving a small trail of destruction and scorched forest in their wake. After successfully luring another ship to the island, they eliminated the officers, commandeering the ship and making their great escape.

Geography

Fitting to the name, the shores of the island are littered with jagged rocks and craggy cliffs. Much of the island is also covered in temperate deciduous forest, with a large set of caves near a mountain system toward the center-right. The top left half of the island is home to a large, rocky bay while the lower right hosts a small peninsula.

Fauna & Flora

Ambergrim

These hungry, honey and amber colored jellies are forest scavengers, hiding in forest growth and underbrush to draw their victims into their sticky bulk.

Assassin Vine

A carnivorous vine plant that ensnares its victims and crushes them before depositing them near their roots as fertilizer.

Violet Fungus

Like most fungus, violet fungus feeds on rot and decay. Unlike others, it does not take such a passive role. With its tendrils, the violet fungus can lash out and strike at its victims, rotting away their bodies worryingly fast.

Siren

These hawk-bodied creatures have the head of a humanoid woman, and lure sailors and other unsuspecting victims in with their songs.

Boalisk

A long viper-like snake with red eyes and a deadly gaze. When they don't paralyze their targets with a look, they grapple them with their mouths and constrict the life from them.   Blackbears, hawks, and leopards also all call the island home.
