Human
Short-lived compared to elves, fragile compared to dwarves and disconnected from the natural world compared to gnomes, humans are the underdogs of the Young People. They make up for their general fragility with tenacity and a versatility rarely seen among other species of the world.
Humans most commonly follow the deities of the Temple of Passion , with followers dedicated to the Primal Gods are also popular. Though less common, a few humans are known to follow the Talons of the Wyrm . More than other ancestries, humans join various cults and heresies.

Humans are spread far and wide around the world, making their settlements in a wide variety of areas. This has lead to several cultures or ethnicities among humans, even moreso than other ancestries. Many members of a specific ethnicity share similar skin tones, hair color and facial features, though mixing of ethnicities is extremely common, especially in border areas.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Skin coloration among humans ranges from a pale whitish-pink for those living in colder areas such as the Mordaunian to a brownish color for those hailing from warmer, drier climates. Those who hail from tropical lands tend to have a reddish or yellowish tint to their skin and those nearest the world's equator where the sun shines its brightest are dark brown to deep black in coloration. However, due to the fact that human ethnic groups often mix these are only generalities and a specific family lineage or individual can display a wide variety of ethnic features.
