Lunarian

The Lunarians are an ethnicity that hails from the Crescent Isles, a group of tropical islands between the Western Continent and the Redlands. Lunarians often live a simple life, and their islands are plentiful in resources such as boar, chickens, lumber, tropical fruits and sugar cane. Most Lunarians have dusky skin. dark hair and many take to the sea quite easily.

Major language groups and dialects

Lunarian is a dialect of the Common, also known as Tradetongue. The dialect tends to soften hard Ts at the beginning of words, making them more like a D sound and often A sounds are pronounced more as an O. For example, "that" sound's closer to "dot" and "man" more like "mon."

Common Dress code

Lunarians tend to wear loose clothing that breathes easily. Their dress tends towards the colorful side, with silver and bright blue being favored colors, but with a bright dash of red, yellow and purple.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Worship of Moon is very common among the Lunarians as their traditional beliefs are that they are the People of the Moon, blessed by Luna. Thus, the most common religion for Lunarians is that of an Adherent of the Moon

Common Myths and Legends

While many Lunarians have dusky skin, a rare few are born with brilliantly colored silver hair. These children are considered to be touched by Moon herself and are often treated as such, most often becoming clerics or champions of Moon.
