Crescent Isles

The Crescent Iles refers to a series of islands that lie in the sea between the Redlands and the Western Continent . These islands are tropical with generally pleasant weather and temperature. Home of the Lunarian , the Crescent Isles are big worshippers of Moon as it is believed by natives that the islands were formed in a crescent shape as an image of one of Her aspects. There are no large cities on the Crescent Iles, at least not as someone from the Western Continent might consider it. Instead, the islands are dotted with small villages, each operating on their own and many of them making a living from the sea. As a result, the populated areas are along the shore lines. The populations of these cities are mostly human, halfling and gnomes. Elves are virtually unknown on the Isles and dwarves tend to avoid the isles. Goblins are rare, but they have begun showing up in greater numbers over the last few decades, mostly those fleeing form the Iron Legion . A Pirate's Life
The Crescent Isles are one of the few areas of the world not completely conquered by the Iron Legion , and that is due partially because of the pirates that continually harassed the legion's forces. As a result, the legion didn't get much of a foothold on the islands. As a result, piracy is a way of life now for many adventurers of the Crescent Isle, continuously harassing the navies of the Iron Lord. Quite a few pirates are also members of the Righteous Spear, or at the very least support their rebellion against the Iron Legion. While not all pirates are so noble, the Lunarian are highly tolerant of the fiends. So long as a pirate crew doesn't cause too much destruction or bring ruin upon the islands, a member of the Crescent Isles will generally just smile when someone complains about piracy.

Fauna & Flora

Tropical jungles yield a lot of bananas, pineapples and coconuts. Boars are common on the Isles and are occasionally a big issue when they run roughshod over the smaller communities.
