Simone's Escarpment

Simone's Escarpment is a shallow valley in the local south of Scrimpt, west of Button along the Seam between Scrimpt and Torn Lofte. It is named for the explorer who first found the entrance to the rail tunnel under Torn Lofte located there along the Scrimpt side of the patch. It's a lowland area between relatively gentle hills on the Scrimpt side of the seam and the sharp cliff resulting from the height difference of Torn Lofte on the other. It's covered in medium density scrubland foliage, which is passable for most humanoids, offering only some impediment. There are berries in the region, safe for most people and very tasty, but there's also poison oak present.
