Death of Queen Shawha

Life, Death

112 AK

Queen Shawha, founder of the Khalimedi Empire, dies, supposedly 129 years old.

The legend says that the queen's remains were entombed in a deep chamber in the Shrine of Sand, in the heart of Khalimed itself. While the shrine, now one of the biggest, wealthiest and oldest great temples of Khalimed, is open to visitors and supplicants, the inner, ancient chambers where the queen is supposedly buried are only open to the Shaly'ah of the Plethora and to the current ruler of Khalimed. With the death of queen Shawha, any mention of the Sand Council is also lost. Khalimedi tradition, strongly supported by the Plethora, suggests that they died shortly after or before the queen and were buried in nearby chambers of the Shrine of Sand. Their chambers are sealed to the public like the queen's resting place.
