Scoragh

Scoragh is the deity chosen by Daaraxioi to unleash chaos within the light domain, and is thus opposed to Luciera. Classically depicted as male/androgynus, Scoragh is by far the most feared deity in the Eastern Continent. This god has power over the intense, burning desert light, and is responsible for draughts, desertification and blindness.
Because of the Daardai Empire and subsequently Khalimedi view on raising dead, a practice still frequent as capital punishment in inland Khalimed, Scoragh is in these regions also associated with necromancy.

Divine Domains

In the eastern continent, Scoragh is the most common deity for Light clerics, but this domain is not the most common in the continent, at least not between good or neutrally aligned people. Evil clerics, on the other hand, often worship Scoragh in exchange for his powers.
In inland Khalimed and in some of the Primal tribes of the Far East, Scoragh is also associated with the death domain.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Scoragh is often depicted as a blond humanoid male, with medium length wild-looking beard and hair, often connected in one mass of hair. His hair and beard are made to symbolize the cruel rays of the sun. In more refined or developed depictions, Scoragh often carries a sphere in his hands, carried low near the waist - a symbolism for the sun being too close to the land.
In more primal depictions or in small amulets carried by clerics to him devoted, Scoragh's symbol is a simple spherical sun. In very primal, ancient religions, a symbol associated to Scoragh is also a small pouch filled with white sand - a symbol of his presumed descent in the event with the same name, that led to the creation of Scoragh's Garden
