Shades

A creature that is created via the Detachment Ceremony. The Shades usually look dead or rotting as their bodies lack souls and therefor also lack any form of thinking or intelligence. Many dark forces and dark cultures create Shades as a primary force in their armies. Still, some Shades are capable of keeping their appearance and their intelligence if not even gaining abilities, These are often referred to as Dapplekin. In order to permanently kill a Shade is by completely destroying it with either Light Magic or with a Scared Object. Shades are extremely strong and fast on top of being extremely tough to kill, they follow every command perfectly and can be affected easily and effectively by their master using Shadow magic.
