Intellicorp

Based on Cygni, (transit) - Transit monopoly Intellicorp paved the way for expansion into Cygni, but then they also planted their home base here. Intellicorp has a reputation as an innovator, the inventor of Jump Points, Capital Ship, and interstellar scout satellites, and they have survived over two hundred years of Terran expansion. Though Terran Systems has easily overtaken them in terms of overall size, Intellicorp is still a close competitor in the transit sector.
Intellicorp not only has the second largest pilot workforce, they hire more outside contractors to do transport or supply runs than most corps, meaning their listings tend to dominate freelance VR forums. Although their completion bonuses are lower than most employers, many freelancers make their living by picking up the nearest Intellicorp listing the instant they’ve completed the previous one, and seeing the colonized worlds - albeit briefly - gig by gig. Eventually, many of them are in their space often enough that they decide to become citizens of Intellicorp.
