Cygnan

Appearance
Cygnans appear as core Terrans with glowing eyes, generally green, blue or purple, and bioluminescent veins the same color running down their bodies, arms and legs, terminating in their fingertips and toes.
Physicality
Cygnans are Terrans with an inherent link to the lifeblood of their planets and the energies around them. This includes both biological and technological energy, ranging from stars to engines to individual beings. Cygnans can extract, harvest and store most types of energy in their bodies, with the goal of eventually returning it to a natural ecosystem. Once a Cygnan’s energy system is full, they may unleash the energy in a number of unique ways, including an explosion of biological matter: Vines, spores, acid, and flowers are but a few examples.
Culture
After 100 or so years of terraforming destroyed nearly all bioluminescence endemic to the planet Cygni, a rare coalition of Reds(organization:f15d5a92-5a0d-4179-80a2-e9f5a75a0b35) (environmentalists) and [Greens  gathered to engineer a solution. The Cygnan was the result. As agents for a cause, Cygnan culture revolves around a near-worship of the natural over the mechanical, and they work as communes to transfer as much energy from technology back to the planet as possible.
Many Cygnans were hired or bought by other factions, including corps wishing to sabotage each other, or to more rapidly tap a planet’s geothermal energy to fuel their Bubble Colony’s generators. Considered traitors to their species, Cygnans who took technological work were known as Corrupted or Anti-Cygnans. As many Terrans do, most Cygnans band together by career: engineers, environmentalists, scavengers, and soldiers, just to name a few. Their work is their life, and they engage in an almost religious worship of their home planets. Small well-meaning groups of Cygnans have even been deployed to Earth, though most Terrans consider that planet well beyond help.
Systems & Corps
Cygnans were initially created to shut down old or inefficient Terran technology, especially from criminals and rogue factions, and transfer their power to the planet, effectively returning the planet Cygni to its former luminescence. Cygnans’ feelings toward a corp are based primarily on that corp’s stance on nature. Frequently allied organizations include The Reds(organization:f15d5a92-5a0d-4179-80a2-e9f5a75a0b35), [Progenature, Inc. and Verdant Industries. Those at odds most often include Terran Systems, Tremmena Robotics, and the @[Wheel Banking Corporation (WBC).
