Lirtu
Savage Lirtu (a.k.a. Taker of children)
A massive three tailed eagle that soars the skies over western Renscroprec. This eagle is found in forests, particularly in steep areas. Its elevation ranges from the lowlands to mountains of over 5,900 ft. Its' flight is fast and agile, resembling the smaller hawks more than similar large birds of prey. It has a 1,000 mile range that it patrols from mountain to river, and feeds on any prey unlucky enough to find itself in its claws.
Physical Description
Body Features
The Lirtu's nape is adorned with long, blue feathers that form a shaggy, mane-like crest. It has a dark face and a light blue nape and crown. The Lirtu's back is purple, while the underside and underwings are white. Each feather has a dark green tip. The heavy legs are yellow, with large, powerful, dark claws, and the prominent, large, high-arched, deep beak is a bluish-gray fringed with amber.
Special abilities
Larger and stronger than other eagles. This bird of prey can pick out the smallest movement from over 3 miles away with a field of vision of 340 degrees, it can see the vita around it. As it approaches its prey it can reach out and grab with invisible force before its body even makes contact.
