Primae
Children of the Primordials, created using the faith of humanity, and born by parthenogenesis. Only Foret and Vileru abstained from creating Primae, their creative urges sated by their ultimate act in birthing the universe.
Like their parents, Primae are very powerful, although more limited. Their personalities are tinted with the aspect of their parent, and the aspect to which they were born with. This aspect is vague and nebulous, but constricting nonetheless. All but one (Guta'cai) have a 'gender' as well, although this is little more than a feature that requires the input of two Primae to create new beings, as their power isn't enough to create singly. Guta is a special case. Unlike their parents, they are highly dependent on the faith of sentient beings and their capabilities vary with the strength of that belief. This has led to their restriction to the world where their believers reside; where their parents could roam the vast bounds of time and space at will, the Primae tend to keep themselves close to this world.
A Primae has two forms; ethereal and corporeal. As ethereal they can travel between sites where their aspect is strong, and have an almost omniscient view of the universe around them but their interaction with the physical world is limited to whatever they can influence mortals to do through dreams and that 'inner voice' the faithful possess. When corporeal, they can directly affect the world around them, although acts of powerful divine will are limited to their aspect, and they are subject to the rules of the universe when not exerting power to oppose it. This power costs, and is only replenished by the faith of their worshippers, if enough power is drained, they go ethereal. It was the loss of their followers following the Usurpation, and the almost total expenditure of their remaining reserves that was one of the primary reasons for them leaving for the Aether.

All of the Primae bar one, Nexi, ascended to the Aether to be with their parents after the Inheritance war. Nexi's power in the material world is limited by both the scarcity of his followers, and the presence of Zal'jon-Weil, whose very presence prevent Nexi from directly challenging another god's will. Nexi cannot use the Inner voice on followers of another god, and neither can he travel whilst ethereal to areas claimed by other gods. The reverse is true also, and allows Nexi a great deal of secrecy in his actions.
