Lorsund

Like Archeld, suffered greatly under the Sakamorh invasions but unlike Archeld, profited greatly both under the Hegemony due to trade over the southern mountains. With the re-establishment of the Empire, its southern border and the mountain passes are now heavily fortified and the staging point for attacks into Sakamorh lands. Profits too from large forests in the south and well tilled farmlands in the north. Lost a large portion of land to Arall in the east which cut-off access to the eastern passes. Ormsage, the capital, is a fortified town on the coast but its largest city, Enim, is high in the hills and is a major imperial military post. At any time, nearly a tenth of all the army is either barracked there, or using it as a staging post for attacks into Sakamorh.
