Archeld
An influential state largely due to its proximity to Belyos and its food output (which feeds a lot of Belyos). Aside from its capital, which sits just up the coast from Belyos, Archeld is almost entirely rural, a result of the upheaval of the Sakamohr. However, the emptiness of the land was a boon for prospective landowners once the Sakamorh had been evicted, and many a large country estate was carved from the vast farmlands. Whilst mocked for being a state of farmers and upstart commoners turned nobles, its population has flourished and no one can deny the power its Elector yields. The main city, Danenth, basks in the reflected glory of Belyos and is full of people who cannot afford to (or cannot sneak into) the Imperial city itself. Like its more powerful neighbour, the city is in the midst of a rebuilding program and the streets are airy and well maintained.
Structure
Like the other Elector States, Archeld's Elector Lord is a hereditary position, first assigned by Til-Yaltur when the Empire was re-founded.
