Thin iron plating that is marked with magic warding to protect against minor spells. (level 3 and lower are dispelled/unable to target the carriage or its contents)
Windows have two shades that can be pulled. The first shade is a privacy screen that has small hatching so that it is semi-transparent from inside the cabin, but opaque from outside the cabin. It is painted with natural scenery. The second shade is an iron plate that provides additional armor in case of attack.
The doors to the cabin have two bolt locks and one magical lock in order to bunker down in case of attack.
