The watchsprings are clockwork automata, used by the
City Watch. Designed by
Vizier Jaq Mason and manufactured in the Mason's Foundry, they are overseen by
House Bakerstreet and the Watch.
Appearance
The standard Watchsprings patrol the
lower districts of the city, and are often mistrusted and feared by the subjects that they puport to protect. Their brass bodies wear the russet uniform of the City Watch.
The Watchsprings of the
upper eschelons of the city are far more elaborate. Their cermaic embellishments and ornately decorated masks and wings lend them an angelic aspect, that is simultaneously beautiful and uncanny.
