Baxter Matriarchy

The most subversive to the Bramble Church of all the Matriarchies in the Bunbun Warren, the Baxter Matriarchy is a branch of the Lindt Matriarchy, in a trail that ultimately leads back to the Berryld Matriarchy.

Establishment

The Baxter Matriarchy was established just ten years before the 1218 Apocalypse of the Unmaking Rage that almost wiped out the Orcish Deities. Both founders, Coco and Fudge Baxter-Lindt were killed by the Apocaplyse, but some of their offspring survived and the matriarchy continued through their daughter, Poppy Baxter.

Significant Individuals

"Bucktooth" McCain Baxter

Bucktooth McCain is as close to a gangster as the Bunbun Warren has. He runs an underground contraceptive market, while his Kobold wife, Krinkle, operates a backalley abortion service. Not only does the Bramble Church deliberately withholds sexual education and encourage procreation, Warrenite Bunbun must marry whoever they have their firstborn with.
Even in its relatively short existence, the Baxter Matriarchy has experienced two birth/pregnancy-related tragedies, including the death of Bucktooth's own mother Tattie Baxter and the stillbirth of Laura Baxter which also killed her mother, Shallot Baxter.
