Gizovad
Once known as Gizovad, the holy land of Ostoria, this desert is vast, and mostly devoid of life. Only brave souls attempting the great pilgrimage travel between the Ten Temples of the gods. This is a land of rumbles and whispers of an empire lost, where Revermaug and Krigga engage in combat to determine the fate of the plane.
Mim was originally the Gizovad, (Gifts to Father) the religious heart of Ostoria, each member of the Ordning had a temple, and a pilgrimage to each temple was customary. In legend, Skoreaus Stonebones had proposed Gizovad as the grounds where the God's could directly compare the works of their followers in the presence of Annam. He doesn't have a temple, as his contribution was turning the badlands into a beautiful region. This was the ancient birthplace of runecraft. As part of the Cataclysm, it's said that the Usurper's betrayal enraged Annam, and he compelled the earth itself to rise up and destroy his children's creations.
Geography
The geography of the Valley of Gifts doesn't make since to those who survive to catalog it. There's no logical arrangement of natural features, no natural springs, and no explanation to how this was once a vibrant land. If anything, the destruction brought in the cataclysm returned this land to its natural state.
