Celestial Seagrass

Celestial Seagrass is a unique type of seagrass distinguished by its bioluminescent properties. Its slender, ribbon-like leaves emit a soft glow, illuminating the waters where it grows. The leaves are typically a vibrant green during daylight, but as darkness falls, the bioluminescence becomes more pronounced, creating a mesmerizing underwater spectacle. 
Celestial Seagrass is found exclusively in shallow coastal waters, typically in sheltered bays and lagoons. It prefers areas with clear, calm water and sandy or muddy bottoms. It forms dense meadows on the seafloor, providing habitat for a variety of marine life. It is most prevalent in areas with limited light penetration, as this seems to encourage its bioluminescence.
Celestial Seagrass has several uses. Its most notable use is in the creation of certain magical potions. The bioluminescent leaves are a key ingredient in potions of water breathing, allowing the drinker to breathe underwater for a period of time. They are also used in potions of healing, as they are believed to contain a subtle restorative energy. The light emitted by the seagrass is also sometimes collected and used in the creation of magical light sources.
