Ice Crest

Ice Crest is a cold seaside town in the mid-northern region of Countillan, around the Frozen Plate. Icecrest has mostly relied on fishing and is considered one of the smaller city-states only having a population of 100,000. The town has a lot of crime that is watched by the corrupt religious knights of the Knighthood of the Thunderflock Guild that act as the police force. The Thunderflock Guild worships the Deafening Spartan. They were kept at bay by the leader of the city, Duke Barotov. He was a celebrated war hero who was given the title of an honorary position but he did his best to step up and take care of Ice Crest. Unfortunately, he was assassinated a couple of years ago by a group of realm of Ash cultists attempting to bring their lich leader into Othealia. They are called the Cursed Wings and targeted Barotov because of his heroics in the War of Shadows. They were successful in their assassination attempt but their plans to enter Othealia were foiled. After the Duke's assassination, the town has become rampant with crime, police brutality, and corruption. It has become known as a place to lay low for many of Othealia's most wanted criminals.
