Bartolk the Arctic

Bartolk the Arctic is a white greatwyrm. He was a protector of the ancient empire of Acarck and for his sacrifice and devotion, he was chosen as a champion of the Ichorous General. Bartolk was known for his bravery and valor. His loyalty to the people of Countillan was unmatched. He is most known for two monumental feats.
The first of which was his role in the Taralich's defeat. He was included in the party led by Straval the Defender. While switching between a humanoid and draconic form he restrained and created holes in Tarog's gore-covered carapace, allowing for magic to penetrate his defenses.
The second event occurred over 500 years later. At this time the empires of Countillan were vulnerable and easily disablized after trying to recover from Tarrog's reign. Bartolk had befriended and worked alongside the elves who led the empire of Acarck, as their grandfather fought alongside him against Tarrog. Acarck as well as the other civilizations of Countillan were all put to the test during Vaspara's invasion, titled the Ashen Frost. During this invasion, Bartolk fought alongside the armies of Countillan which resulted in the formation of the Frozen Plate. In the end, Bartolk fell in battle with one of Vespara's undead dragons, but in doing so ended the invasion and banished the Cursed Wings from Othealia.
