History

Orginally a trading post between Alatrion and Clan Stonedeep it served as trading hub for the Southwest Kingdom for over a hundred years. The terrible dragon Azzarth attacked the Stonedeep mines in 415 AU which displaced many Dwarven workers and families. The trading post was ill equipped to deal with the upsurgence of population and quickly began to receed into poverty and famine.
King Carrathor was concerned for the people of Stonedeep and Bilgantur so he sent his most trusted Knight Alfric Breman to deal with Dragon and restore thing to thier rightful place. Alfric Breman brought with him his Golden Company and upon arriving in Bliganthur say the state of things and used his resources to help build shelter and hunt for food. The Golden Company began their good work and Alfric and two of his most elite knights, Halius and Orianna Vadu, went into the mines to take care of the dragon as outlined in the tale of Azzarth's Deal .
Once the mines were at peace the Dwarves could begin their work, but because of the generosity of the The Crown they decided to continue his good work and keep building the town.
The dwarves eventually elected a Mayor that ruled over the town with moderate success before the grace of King Lysander sent in a new mayor to see a new era of Prosperity and Hope for the people of Bilganthur.
