Hollow Shard

The Hollow Shard is one of the Mythic Artifacts. In its regular state it appears as an ornate and expensive looking dagger. Formed of a black metal and bones worked to form it. The handle is about 3 inches long with a small cross-guard. The single-edged blade of the dagger only goes out about 3 inches before it ends jaggedly and broken with a fine point on the top.
This is why the blade is called the Hollow Shard. Hollow as in deceitful and shard since the blade appears broken. However once the artifact bonds to the wielders Od the blade and hilt will grow to whatever size the wielder desires. The limit appears to be a maximum of a 10 foot long blade and an 18 inch long handle. The shape is that of a slightly curved single-edged blade, similar to a katana's blade. The handle and cross guard are like that of a messer.
Like all Mythic Artifacts the weapon possesses its own Od that will be added on the wielders od once it has bonded with him.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Has a natural magic to it thanks to being one of the mythic artifacts. The blade and handle can extend to whatever length the wielder desires up to a maximum of 10 feet for the blade and 18 inches for the handle.
