Vishara the City Reborn

Founded in the year 745 ACW by Prince Edmure Fairlight after taking soldiers and settlers out to the Eramire Desert desert to one of its few oases. The Fairlight family was one of the few that had survived the Cosmic War and had spent years without a home of their own.

Government

Vishara is run by a constitutional monarchy that was adopted in the year 923 ACW after being promised a road through The Scar and library by The Peoples Republic of Rycrioun so long as they adopted some form of democracy. Now the Prince of Vishara acts as the head of state with a chosen Minister of State beneath them who oversees the military and police of the city-state and ensures the Prince or Princess wishes are enacted.
Equal to this branch is the Council of Divison and is made up of 14 members who are voted on by the people chosen from the 14 wards of Vishara. Elections are held every five years and councilors may hold office for a total of 3 terms. The small council is meant to independently of the Prince and is in charge of the everyday functions of the city as well as voting on the proposed laws and budget of the Prince.
