Rytol
Rytol, also known as the Vial Fate, is a legendary poison of honey-colored liquid with a sickly sweet smell. Created centuries ago and outlawed after the The War of Shattered Souls, this poison was thought to be lost until Amdil of House Erellon began the process of recreating its deadly formula in 940 ACW. Rytol is infamous for its terrifying potency, breaking down the body and soul of the victim and converting them into pure arcane energy that is absorbed back into the leylines.
Effect
The poison is deadly to the one who drinks it; at full potency, Rytol kills the one who ingests it from the inside out in a matter of thirty seconds. Over the years with the actual formula lost the amount of time it takes to kill a person is far less accurate.
Upon ingestion: the target must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 12d6 necrotic damage and 12d6 poison damage immediately, and an additional 12d6 necrotic damage and 12d6 poison damage at the start of each of their turns for the next 5 turns. If the target dies as a result of this poison, their body and soul are converted into arcane energy and are sent back into the Leylines . Souls affected by Rytol cannot be reincarnated by any means.
On a successful save: the target takes half the initial damage, 6d6 necrotic and 6d6 poison. Damage Breakdown:
Initial Ingestion: 12d6 necrotic damage and 12d6 poison damage. Start of the Next Turn: Failed Save: 12d6 necrotic damage and 12d6 poison damage. Successful Save: 6d6 necrotic damage and 6d6 poison damage. Start of the Third through fifth Turn: Failed Save: If previous save was failed, 12d6 necrotic and 12d6 poison. If previous save was successful, 6d6 necrotic and 6d6 poison. Successful Save: Halves the damage taken from the last turn. E.g., if last turn was 12d6 each, this turn is 6d6 each. If last turn was 6d6 each, this turn is 3d6 each. If a success happens after 3d6 damage then no damage is taken that round.
Cure: The poison can be neutralized by the greater restoration or wish spells. Lesser methods of curing poison are ineffective against Rytol.

Side/Secondary Effects
Rytol causes the victim's body to weaken almost instantly. For each turn they are under the effects of the poison, they suffer a cumulative -1 penalty to all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks. These penalties last until the poison's effect ends or is cured.
Manifestation
Rytol is a honey-colored liquid with a sickly sweet smell to it.
Source
Rytol draws its power from Ossin's arcane leylines, using this energy to fuel the transformation of the victim's physical and spiritual essence into pure arcane energy.
Discovery
Rytol was first discovered in the year 6253 BCW by a High-elf known as High Arcanist Phraydreon of House Magerly. He used the poison on the leaders of the Mani Tribe and Maenor Tribe sending a devastating blow to the opposing side.
