Zealots of Sekdahn
The zealots consider Sekdahn as the line that stands between humanity and the vengeful native spirits of Ospur.
Culture
The Disciples of Sekdahn see its soldiers as an important force opposing the Spirit of Ospur, an enemy of humanity. Thier belief in Sekdahn does not protect them from the wrath of Utopia Pacification Forces. Some assume this is due to their corruption by the elements of Ospur. The believe in striving to purify and secure Desembashia against the evil spirits of Ospur.
Some zealots hope Sekdahn will permit them to enter the Utopian Dome Cities if they purify themselves thoroughly enough. However the constant presence of contaminants forces them to endeavor to also purify the world around them.
Other Zealots hold no hope in being accepted in this life. Instead their hope lies in the next. Through living their lives to carry out the will of Sekdahn they can atone for their corrupted nature, and be welcomed after they abandon their corrupted mortal shell. If they prove their devotion to Sekdahn then he will draw their souls to him.
Worship
They practice various cleansing rituals using herbs grown in ritually cleansed gardens. A zealot also strives to avoid eating any food not grown in a blessed garden.
A zealot can easily be recognized by the various amulets and talismans they carry to ward off Ospur spirits.
