Niridae

After stepping out of the dark and dampened cave, they shielded their eyes from the glowing sun. The smooth sand beneath their feet twinkled in the warm sunlight and the waves crashed softly onto the shoreline. Boulders of stone of all sizes were scattered along the beach and twin sides of towering rock faces loomed over them on either side of them as they peered upward. In the distance, an opening for an inlet laid ahead with a circular symbol suspended by the rock faces imposing above the water. It was the only exit they could make out from the beach. Footsteps were heard behind them and they were met by a taller being with gray skin and lightly colored hair. The being blinked at them as they also stepped out of the dark cave. Then, the being looked over them and toward the inlet. The being of gray skin then reached out their hand for them to take and begin the journey to the place that they belonged.
