Dranac

The land was arid and gray when they made their way down from the fiery mountain side. The seething lava still veined along the dark rock beneath their feet. In the distance, crooked mountains laid ahead with a dense fog that covered the majority of its range. They heard a sudden scuffling nearby and watched as another large being trudged the dust covered ground toward them. The being stopped for a moment and the two looked over each other before the being continued onward with cracked lips and an empty stomach. Their gaze followed the being as it went on with a purpose. Then, they remembered theirs and looked again toward the crooked and gray mountains ahead.

Civilization and Culture

Naming Traditions

Dranac are given a childhood name until the age of 15, then they are tasked with climbing The Mouth of Ta'thul. The volcano is impossible to climb to the tallest point because of the chaotic God, Ta'thul's interference. The young Dranac are charged with making it to a base camp at the least. When the young Dranac return they are given their adult name.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

Because of the Dranac's isolation, they have created their own language which is written and spoken. It makes the Dranac one of the few to have another spoken language in Osera. However, they still learn and speak the common tongue of Osera.
