Esteril

Esteril is a city located on Molbu, one of Lysavor's two moons.
Esteril was built by the Woiokos who later became the Deepborn. They built the city in an area where rivers of magma split the sea floor. Later, pylons were added that allowed non-aquatic races to breathe in water within a certain radius. The city is surrounded on three sides by high ocean ridges. Currently, Esteril has a population of around 170,000. The majority of residents are aquatic races like Woioko Deepborn, and Wrikreechee.
Their government is an oligarchy where each member descends from one of the seven families that founded the city. Their judicail system consists of a court with three judges. They hear all evidence provided by both sides then state their verdict.
There are two dragons officially worshipped in Esteril, Annrauth, Dragon of the Hunt and Visrael, Dragon of the Tides.
The main exports of Esteril are intricate jewlery made of pearls and an iridescent coral that can only be found in the reefs near the city and seasilk, a strong and soft material that is incredibly smooth and water resistant. Most of their food is hunted from the surrounding waters. They eat mostly fish, crab, and clam. Esteril is a comparatively wealthy city where most of its citizens are well off. However they are wary of outsiders and as a result it can be difficult for people to find good jobs and housing when they first move to the city.
